Jesus4Prez

For the most part, I’ve been off social media for about 1 month now for 3 reasons: 1. I don’t have time, 2. I have a “comparing myself to strangers I don’t know” problem & 3. I get annoyed with the negativity and the arousal of people blasting their political views on Facebook as if some shared post is going to change someone’s views.  This post is about the latter.

If you’re a believer, stop saying that this world is hopeless.  We have the greatest hope of all, and His name is Jesus Christ.  Knowing who Jesus is while calling this world hopeless is completely taking away from the character of our Savior.  It’s like saying that God has given up on us.

“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:17.

Jesus is not done working on the world & in the hearts of the people in the world until the day of redemption.

As a firm believe in Jesus Christ, I believe that every millisecond has been orchestrated by The Lord.  I think we often get so caught up with the ways of this world & with ourselves that we forget this truth.  So when we question the sometimes awful things that are happening in this world, are we questioning God’s provision and plan?  Most definitely.

Believe it or not, whoever wins president isn’t up to the people.  It was up to Jesus long, long, long ago.

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Colossians 1:17

much love,

H
