Today is such a good day! My cousin Jeremy, who is currently in jail and has been since July 3rd 2013, is getting baptized on Saturday! Jeremy is my age. We are only 2 months apart, which has made us have a very strong relationship all throughout the years. I visit him once a week, and during those visitations, our conversations consist of the word of God. Someone who used to commit a multitude of sins is now able to have a clean slate because of Jesus Christ. Jeremy is living proof that ANYONE can create a clean slate. 1 Corinthians 1:30 says, “Everything that we have – right thinking and right living, a clean slate and a fresh start – comes from God by way of Jesus Christ.” I pray that Jeremy’s journey with Christ lasts a lifetime. I ask that you pray the same thing.
